People that want to take charge and direct the conversation: 25 de abril de 2014

People that are poised and alert, waiting for the moment they can turn the conversation towards themselves, always ready to share their perspective. People that want to take charge and direct the conversation through the route they desire, instead of just letting it flow, letting other people share. I don’t find this personality type particularly enjoyable to be around.

There’s a girl here that is exactly like this, and I think if I had to stereotype her personality I’d choose “know-it-all.” I’d probably say this for Sonja as well, but she isn’t nearly as in your face about it. To me it seems like Sonja actually knows what she’s talking about, and is less inclined to force herself on other people. She does it in a softer way.

It’s so interesting to me because it seems like Sonja thinks the other girl is cool and wants to be like her, or have her vibes. I wonder if it’s because they’re California girls. Haha, but seriously. Like, there has to be a small seedling of truth in this stereotyping.

They seem to be like how the juniors on the soccer team were when I was a freshman in university. Not welcoming or friendly because we were the newcomers and it was their thing, their house, their space, whatever it is. It’s this stupid power struggle that I don’t care about and don’t want to be included in, and that is gossipy and north American.

The typical blank personality type from the states that I don’t want to be involved with because their standards, priorities, criticisms, and values seem to be in relation to how good other people are and not in relation to oneself. Like comparisons that are irrelevant. Blah blah blah.

There’s nothing more to say. I have a headache and no inspiration. I don’t have any snacks or my own weed. Stary-eyed, blank mind. Creative resources and motivation are running so fucking low.
