Blood, Björk, and Brainwashing: 25 May 2012

Cooling down in Café Nero, it’s hot hot hot! I had a massive headache and needed coffee. Today I bought three books at a cheap bookshop and over-the-knee, black, opaque socks because I am getting blisters on my feet from my Primark sandals and I needed socks! Also, I have been wanting over-the-knee socks like that. Only bad thing was they cost £12. American Apparel. Holy shit. I kind of want a sweet fanny pack.

Blood, Björk, and Brainwashing: A catalogue of ideas, thoughts, curiosities, and desires of one insignificant human, written in the first person.

I love scissors, zip-lock bags, film canisters, organizing, maps, tampons, cheap bookstores, fake tattoos, watching movies online, cutting up tights to make socks and black chokers, fake sugar, being fucking prepared for everything ever, this red pen, finding things, using exact change when paying for something, spring, warm breezes, finishing a book, making lists, having limited options for outfits and jewelry, frugality, the deep muskiness of the sun in the late afternoon,

nails with the tips painted black, anticipation and excitement about traveling, using things up and throwing them away, meeting people to hang out with for only one city, not staying in one place for longer than a week, not having a real home, exploring every day, walking everywhere, smoking cigarettes instead of eating, coffee coffee coffee, pencils, learning, wearing things out, being self-sufficient, watching people watch me…
