Get blazed and browse your textbooks: 7 de octubre de 2013
Get blazed and browse your textbooks, your coffee table books, any book. Sit in grandma’s old living room and drink coffee and put your feet on the table, put the flowers in water, invest in a funky tablecloth, ask weird questions, delete music you don’t listen to, put up christmas lights, remember Boise’s October colors dripping into reality, poised edges about to crumble and spring into life again, refreshed.
My legs crossed, socks slipping down, clothes from the night out, four friends writing, drinking, thinking, exclaiming; we are full of passion and vigor, ready for the party to begin. Anticipation of the future, knowing the future will be awesome makes the present even more sublime. My frame, a plant that needs water; a hardy plant, quick to adapt but always finding clear pools to drink from.
Silver-tipped nails, growing out the colours of my hair, a cleaner, simpler, more spacious room with lights and candles and a red rug, people you can bounce ideas off of, french-pressed coffee in the morning, to-do lists and imagining the future and peeling the layers of possessions and perspectives off of your body.
