Alright, so I went to the Wood River signing thing, and it was cool. They took a lot of pictures of us, and there was cake, which we ate with our hands because there were no utensils. And that day also Mum and I went shopping, and I got three sweaters and a sweater dress at Kohl’s, and this red blouse with white polka dots at Lux. For $3.50. It was cool spectacular. We also went to Quizno’s, and I had THE most INCREDIBLE sandwich of my whole life. It was like honey bacon something or other. But it was like heaven, I’m not kidding. We also went to get coffee because Ma had a coupon. It was alright.
Today I went skiing with Dad and we met up with Sawyer and Lacy* – Sawyer’s girlfriend I guess. She’s really nice. I like her. It was cold but I used hand warmers so it was ok. But my feet froze, but whatever. We left early for the Super Bowl, Steelers won, I didn’t watch.

This coming weekend I go to SPU for my official visit, and I’ll meet the other recruits. I’m nervous but I can handle it. I just hope I can make friends with them easily. Tomorrow I have school, which is shitty but oh well! GOODNIGHT!

[Another chart with Ana’s secondary progressions. The fact I’m including this chart is a little bit of foreshadowing, but I’ll leave it at that. I set the location for McCall because they were skiing at Brundage, outside of McCall. I’m not sure what time Ana met Lacy but it was most likely between 9:00 and noon.
The chart is actually wild because Mercury stations direct just after midnight on the same day, still close to conjoining Ana’s Sun, as well as her progressed Mercury. At the exact time that it stations direct the Moon is squaring it by degree from Aries. By the time Ana meets Lacy the Moon is square the core axis of her chart very closely, probably square Ana’s Saturn by degree, with Mars conjunct her Saturn by degree as well. Mars thus trines her natal Mars very closely. Mars rules Ana’s 3rd house of siblings, and the Moon is in her 3rd.
Profection lord Sun is closely conjunct Ana’s Venus, thus opposing her Jupiter. The Sun conjoins her progressed Sun by degree. The nodes are still quite close to Ana’s Venus-Jupiter. Transiting Venus sextiles Ana’s NN, as well as her Mars by degree at this point, thus sextiles transiting Mars. Venus rules Ana’s 9th, so 7th from the 3rd, thus Venus is the significator of Lacy, the sibling’s partner. It’s interesting that at this time the significators in Ana’s chart for both Sawyer and Lacy (Mars and Venus, respectively) aspect each other, as well as aspect Ana’s natal Mars.
You know what, fuck it, I’ll just spoil it for you because knowing this may make the transits more intriguing: years later Sawyer and Lacy will get married! Does anything about Ana’s transits or progressed chart speak to that? How would you synthesize all the different symbols interacting here into coherent statements about Sawyer and Lacy, or about the significance of the moment that Ana meets her brother’s future wife?]
