It’s Christmas break. So much time I have spent dreaming of this moment. No soccer, no school. And now I’m here. Yesterday we got our tree, and Dad and I got haircuts. I love mine! Sawyer and Lacy are here, I am going to go to Ketchum with them for a couple days and hang out in Lacy’s coffee shop. Right now I’m alone in my house, listening to Grizzly Bear and drinking decaf coffee I made. I dunno where Sawyer and Lacy went. I started reading Naked Lunch, which is about junkies. I need total silence when I read it because it’s hard to understand. I like to read it out loud actually, in an apocalyptic tone, prescient of anxiety and death in the future. It does scare me.
We videotaped a lot yesterday, of us decorating the tree. I also watched a bit of the third LOTR. It’s good. I’ve also been copying, transcribing? a lot of Musings on my Sanity.* I like it a lot sometimes, and then other times I want to smash my laptop over my own head for the sake of my limited vocabulary. It’s beautiful to hate yourself.

I’m excited for next quarter’s classes. Especially Abnormal Psych and Imaginative Writing. I think the writing one will help me figure out the book I am currently writing. 😀 Wink, wink. I’m basically done with all of my Christmas shopping. Except Lacy and Camila. I dunno if there’s anything of importance left to say.
[I wanted to put up the chart here because this is the first time Ana gives a name to her book project. Obviously she changed her mind about the title, but I think it’s notable that she named it here. Feels like some sort of evolutionary milestone.
There’s a lot of interesting stuff here. First, the Mercury-Pluto-NN action on Ana’s Mercury is augmented by the addition of Mars to the party, which entered Capricorn on December 7. Today Mercury, Pluto, and Mars are all conjunct by degree. Also, Mercury turned retrograde on December 10 at 5° Capricorn, closely sextile Venus in Scorpio as well as Ana’s progressed Venus in Pisces (transiting Venus trines her progressed Venus). I also think it’s really notable that today the Moon comes to conjoin Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces, everything sextile/trine Ana’s core axis, as well as sextile her Mars. That conjunction is also within orb of squaring the Sun in Sag.
What astrological symbolism would describe Ana giving her book project an actual name? She probably didn’t name it today, but she mentioned the name for the first time today, which I find interesting. I definitely feel like it has to do with the Mercury stuff, both transiting and natal, considering its profection lord status. Plus Ana’s progressed Mercury conjoins the core axis of her chart on the AC ruler side, so that’s notable as well. What do you think about all this?]
